Position Overview:
To expand our team, we are looking for a skilled and experienced Data Engineering Consultant. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in data engineering, cloud technologies, and lakehouse architecture. You will be responsible for setting up data load pipelines, providing consultations, and effectively communicating with clients. Experience in business intelligence is highly desirable.
Your tasks will be:
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable lakehouse architectures.
- Utilize cloud technologies to optimize data storage, processing, and management.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines using programming languages, primarily Python.
- Leverage data engineering tools and frameworks (mainly Spark) to process and analyze large datasets.
- Provide expert consultations and technical guidance to clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of data systems.
- Create and maintain documentation for data workflows and processes.
- Support business intelligence (BI) reporting and analysis.
What we expect from you:
- Proven experience with lakehouse architecture.
- Strong knowledge of cloud technologies and practical experience in implementing them.
- Proficiency in programming, particularly in Python.
- Experience with data engineering tools (ideally Spark).
- Ability to design and set up data load pipelines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client interactions.
- Experience with business intelligence reporting is a plus.
